This Week’s Solano Home Inventory & Sales Report: For The Week Ending Mar. 30, 2009

It was another strong week for real estate sales everywhere in Solano except Benicia, as has been the pattern for most every week since the first of the year.
Inventory plunged again in Vallejo, Fairfield, Suisun City and Vacaville. Those same four cities also posted strong pending sales numbers for the week, again mirroring what has happened so far this year.
Some of this week’s highlights:
- A staggering 71 homes went pending in Vallejo last week.
- Other Pending sales data: Fairfield (47), Vacaville (29) and Suisun (19), Benicia (3).
- There are almost half as many homes on the market in Suisun City right now than there were in early January.
- Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville and Fairfield all saw a 7-12 percent drop in the number of available homes for sale last week.
