Vallejo’s Playground Is Underway: DAY ONE

A few days ago, I wrote about Vallejo’s new city park playground, which if all goes according to plan, will be started and completed in just five short days, thanks to an army of volunteers.
Today was Day One and an energetic and enthusiastic work crew was kept busy hauling lumber, sawing, drilling, positioning and erecting support timber.
Below is a video and some still photos that I took earlier this morning. I plan to stop by again tomorrow (Thursday) and will post some updated photos later in the day.
