Vallejo’s Playground Is Underway: DAY TWO

The volunteer-built playground’s infrastructure started to take shape yesterday.
The cement truck arrived shortly before noon and and army of wheel barrows paraded between the waiting post holes and the bright orange cement truck.
A hollow green tube — the first piece of playground equipment to be put into position — was between pieces of wooden framing.
The forecast for Friday and the next several days calls for periods of rain. Whether this will slow things down or jeopardize the planned Sunday finish date remains to be seen.
