Benicia Peddler’s Fair Photo & Video Tour
August 8th, 2009 categories: Benicia, Fun Stuff, Local Stuff
A picture-perfect day greeted the throng of thousands who descended upon Benicia’s First Street for today’s Peddler’s Fair.
Below are some photos and a video I took as I strolled up and down First Street with my two daughters, son-in-law and two grandchildren. Jamie, who’s not particularly fond of huge crowds, stayed home.
I saw all sorts of toys, magazines, and collectibles that reminded me of yesteryear. My only purchase were a trio of Hawaiian shirts, which I got for an irrestistable 3-for-$12. I couldn’t pass that up.
Oh, yeah, and one more purchase — 89 cents for a small bag of gummy bears for my grandson.
