A Few Scenes From Yesterday’s 36th Annual Fine Arts & Craft Fair In Benicia
September 20th, 2009 categories: Benicia, Local Stuff
Benicia held its 36th annual Fine Arts & Craft Fair yesterday and as I strolled through the fair with my wife, daughter and our two grandchildren, I snapped a few photos and took a short video — to capture the essence of this year’s fair.
In past years, it’s simply been called the “Handicraft Fair.” This year, they gave the fair a new name — the “Fine Arts & Craft Fair”.
First Street was closed to traffic from G St. down to the middle of the block between B and C Streets. After a scalding 95+ degree day on Friday, the fog and breezes returned overnight and by the time the fair opened at 10 am, the fog had lifted and it was to be a cool, sunny, comfortable Benicia day.
