Our Gift To Help You Stay Organized in 2010

2010 Calendar - one page

I was told by a friend on New Year’s Eve that the so-called “experts” have decided that 2010 should be referred to as Twenty-Ten, NOT Two-Thousand-Ten .

(Haven’t you always wondered who “appoints” these so-called “experts” anyway? I have.)

Anyway, Happy New Year!

And, regardless of how we pronounce it, 2010 is finally here, which means it’s time to start following through on all those New Years resolutions.

If one of your resolutions is to be better organized in 2010, we’ve got a little gift for you, which we invite you to download and print out for yourself.

It’s our annual 1-page At-A-Glance Calendar, with all the important holidays and dates.

Over the years, I’ve found this calendar format to be incredibly handy and useful if you keep it by your desk or phone, as it allows you to view the entire year at a glance and quickly see what day of the week or even which month a certain holiday or special event will fall.

You can quickly compare different days, weeks and months without turning any pages or waiting to pull up an on-line contact manager.

So if you’re thinking of taking a vacation and can’t remember what part of the week the 4th of July falls on this year, a quick glance and you’ll know.

If someone you’re talking to says “let’s get together in the next few weeks,” you can quickly see that Jan. 18 is ML King Day. Or that Valentines Day falls on a Sunday this year, just a day before President’s Day.

This probably won’t be the only calendar you’ll use. For, there’s certainly no room to pencil in any appointments or add any notes.

But when you’re doing some quick planning and want to know what date Memorial Day is or when certain religious holidays occur, you won’t have to flip through page after page of a large cumbersome hanging calendar.

I got this idea from one of the disclosure companies in our industry. Every year, they would provide a calendar similar to this. But when they merged with one of their competitors, they stopped producing their calendar. So we did the next best thing: we copied their idea and have been producing our own calendars ever since.

So, feel free to download this 1-page calendar, print out a copy or two, and keep it handy.  Also please forward it onto others whom you think might enjoy it, too.

I have a feeling that once you start using it, you’ll wonder how you ever got along without it.

And best of all…whenever you find yourself in need of real estate help or advice in Benicia, Vallejo or the rest of Solano or Central Contra Costa County this year, you’ll have no trouble deciding who to call.

For yes, our “mug” and contact info happily appears at the bottom of the calendar, too. How convenient! (Just had to get in my first “plug” of the new year).

Hope you enjoy this calendar! Happy New Year to all!
