What Is The Hidden Advantage?
Real Estate is an industry where many agents learn the ropes by following their mentors. It’s the path of least resistance…and one that’s worked for many.
But we’ve never been ones to play follow the leader. Instead, we’ve made a reputation for coming up with fresh, innovative ideas and for finding creative ways to make a bigger impact and create more awareness.
Since 1978, we’ve seen real estate from just about every conceivable angle…with experience in new homes, title, escrow, marketing, advertising, public relations, and of course, the resale market. Because we’ve looked at real estate from so many different vantage points, it gives us a unique perspective and the ability to avoid a lot of last-minute complications. It’s an advantage that helps us and it helps our clients.
It’s what we call The Hidden Advantage.
-
For four years, Rod was an executive assistant for the Building Industry Association of Northern California and worked on a variety of public policy issues affecting the housing industry in Alameda, Contra Costa and Solano counties.
-
For nine years, Rod was the advertising & public relations director for Southampton Homes. During his career at Southampton, he received four separate MAME awards – the housing industry’s equivalent of the “Oscar” – for his creative marketing campaigns.
-
Both Rod and Jamie have experience in the title & escrow field. Rod is a former marketing manager and Benicia branch manager for First American Title. Jamie also worked for First American Title – as both a marketing manager and an escrow coordinator. While at First American, Rod received the company’s highest honor – its Service Star of the year award – for continually exceeding his customers’ expectations.
-
From 1993-2005, Rod authored a weekly real estate column in the Benicia Herald. To many loyal readers, he was their local real estate authority. An archive of some of those columns appears here.
-
Rod received his real estate license in 1992 and has been associated with Coldwell Banker Solano Pacific since 1995.
-
Jamie joined Rod in 1998, serving first as his real estate assistant and escrow coordinator. Within a matter of months, she began studying for her license, which she received shortly thereafter.
-
Rod is a former director for the Sales & Marketing Council of the Building Industry Association. Jamie is a past director for the Benicia Stingrays swim team.
